This week we started our Revelation sermon series and were reminded once again of the hope we find in God’s Word for all of life including what is to come. God has a perfect, love-filled plan for His children and we have a glorious future ahead.
We also covered some crucial background information for Revelation found in the books of Daniel and Ezra and laid a good foundation for interpreting Revelation.
Revelation 1:19 provides an outline for the entire book:
- The Things You Have Seen (Chapter 1)
- The Things Which Are (Chapters 2 and 3)
- The Things Which Will Take Place (Chapters 4 through 22)
